Staying at the Radisson for a few nights on business. Did'nt fancy a hotel restaurant as it had been a few years since I had returned to the UK, so searched google and found this gem. It had great reviews so we grabbed a taxi to the 3 Horseshoes. Reviews were correct. The food was delicious, the staff and landlord were very friendly, the atmosphere for a Wednesday night was perfect, groups of people enjoying themselves. We both had the Steak & Ale pie was fabulous. To be honest, it was so good we revisited the following night for dinner, washed down by some excellent beer.
Just had our third mini family get together here to have a good catchup and a laugh ,excellent food, good ale, very friendly staff (nothing to much trouble) in a comfy country pub, so good why go anywhere else so we will return. Thank you " HORSESHOES"
This is a wonderful pub. Excellent staff great hospitality They do food as well you can't ask for more than that. Also I met the land lord and landlady. They are really nice and made me most welcome. Its a big thumbs up from me!
Old world pub with some great ales on. Brilliant place to stop if youre picking someone up from Stansted as its five minutes away. Take credit cards but 5 minimum,The have Adnams Broadside on
Great Sunday Roast in the very large garden on a glorious Spring Day. Good service, good food too.Update. Had fab Sunday lunch today. Great welcome, service, beer, food, building. Perfect!
