It's been difficult to say bye to everybody but we had to come back home. Children love you so much!We are grateful for having had the opportunity of having part of your community who are very hospitable, helpful, close and good people. You really made it easy for them. We will go back sure. I really love the way you teach Children. I wish they had something similar in Spain (science, english, home economics.....). I don't want to leave without saying THANKS to the Director , all the excepcional teachers and to their super friends who they will never forget and see again.A big Thank you to all of you. Xx
I have nothing but praise for this wonderful school from the perspective of a grandparent. My 2 grandchildren have been at Takeley for a few years and they thrive in its culture of care and love. It is a small nurturing community with an ethos that is missing from most regular state schools. Its concept of education is far removed from the treadmill, pressurised and test-oriented environment that is found elsewhere. Every child really does matter and gets individual care & attention in small classes, with dedicated teachers. Top marks
I've spent all my school years here, every minute has been an incredible experience. The school doesn't work for everyone but that isn't always on the part of the school, rather that the children don't fit in. That is no fault of the school in any way.
Some people are rating this one star, by which i mean one person. This school is an amazing place and the cleanliness of the toilets has greatly increased since your son left. I love this school. Thanks for all it has done for me
Brilliant school. Its nurturing and caring, the teachers go above and beyond for the children and the parents. Its run on sacrificial giving (and I dont mean money, but time and love) because thats the culture the school wants to cultivate. As a school, we (and by that I mean parents as well) want to bring our children up in the biblical view of thinking about others before ourselves. I know, I know, that may sound very old fashioned in our culture, but community is at the heart of the school and you cant have community without personal sacrificial investment. I dont feel the need to sell the school to anyone, it is either for you or its not. If you want to drop your children off at the front gates and think because you pay your money thats enough, then the place probably isnt for you. I believe we are to invest in our childrens education and welfare needs in and out of school and to actually enjoy investing love, time and resources into the school. I love it for my children, its the right place for them, its nurturing with personalised care, you dont get that in many places. The classes are really small so they almost get one-to-one care all the time. As above, the teachers go above and beyond for the children AND the parents. The fees are no where near the price of normal independent schools, yet the care you get is way above the money you pay. Theres regular open days, so I would suggest checking it out for yourself and definitely talk to parents in the school playground.
