I'm currently refurbishing this building to its former glory, after a long time of neglect by previous tenants
We arrived at 11.35 on a Saturday night. I had booked a double room with en suite bathroom. We were allocated a twin room with shared bathroom. The room was filthy. The pillowcases were dirty, the carpet had not been vacuumed. We simply got in the car and drove home and lost 70 we had paidFollowing on from my review on Saturday night ,I have messaged the owner to voice my opinions but have to date had no reply or explanation When i booked and paid for my room i was told i had a downstairs double room with en suite facilities(which was my requirement). I phoned again from Strasbourg airport to confirm we were still staying. I was at this point told my room was upstairs and as we were arriving late he would be in bed so had left my name on the said room .I have already described the condition of the room and have some photos to post.My wife popped downstairs to see the breakfast room(as we had been told a place had been set for us and breakfast was in the fridge.On opening the fridge my wife found a packet of ham,a block of cheese,some butter ,jam and milk.There was a packet of croissants on the top and tea and coffee making facilities( so we just assume its a self service .Im sure others will disagree with me, but just be warned if you do book this B+B just ask not to be given room 4. I paid 70 for my room plus parking and usually when you dont get what you paid for there are legal roads you can go down .There is no legal recourse in this instance as nothing was in writing.When i paid for the room i just assumed we had entered into a good old fashioned gentlemans agreement,my downfall in hindsight
They were so polite and kind, always trying to help me. The only thing is that the wireless doesn't work at rooms, it's needed to go to living room. Otherwise everything was perfect.
